Cancan 2.6.7 for Windows + MUME Local Editing 23-APR-2001 (Axel Trocha) tested......: win2k, win98, win95 not tested..: win-nt - the cancan directory has to be located at toplevel e.g. C:\cancan or D:\cancan or ... - you need to apply some registry settings - so double-click on the relating .reg file - to start cancan, again call the relating .bat file you might want to edit the .bat file to choose another editor: - aee (default) - vi for example, for Windows 2000: - click on cancan-win2k.reg (to change the registry settings) - to use cancan, click on cancan-win2k.bat NOTE: - I did not change the cancan-2.6.7 unix source at all, just compiled it using the cygwin package and then did some batch/shell magic for the local editing stuff - the windows versions (especially win9x) seem very slow compared to the un*x aquivalent - dont forget to send the command #identify to enable local editing in cancan Feedback, Bugs and whatever to: axel@trocha.com Regards, Axel
